Our church provides an active program of instruction which was formerly referred to as the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) program.
The Religious Education program at Christ Child Catholic Church is comprised of volunteer parents filling the roles of teachers and classroom aides.
The academic year starts in September and runs through May. We follow the Loma Prieta School District calendar for vacation and statutory holidays.
Religious instruction for grades 1 through 8 is on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am for 1 hour. Confirmation Preparation Classes are held on Saturdays.
Preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is a major component of our program. Our First Holy Communion class is comprised of 2nd grade children and older.
To arrange for a baptism of your child in preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, please contact Fr. Eugenio.
On the first Sunday of the month, Fr. Eugenio presides over "The Children's Mass". At this Mass, the children participate in the Mass to the great enjoyment of the congregation!
